Faculty

From very young, Sabra showed a unique passion for performing and, at the age of three, began ballet lessons. She spent the entirety of her elementary school years at the Abbotsford School of Integrated Arts, later transferring to the Langley fine Arts School where she studied dance, choreography, musical theatre, and drama and was a member of the Esprit de Corps Dance Company for four years. As the 2012 Valedictorian of the LFAS Dance Department, Sabra’s background in anatomy and dance history has helped her to develop a broad academic understanding of dance to compliment her training. Although she found her niche in contemporary and tap, Sabra has trained extensively in a variety of forms of dance with Spiral Dance Co. of White Rock.

She has had the opportunity to train and perform across North America in Vancouver, Los Angeles, New York, Philadelphia, Las Vegas, and Miami. Recently, Sabra has worked with and performed on various stages with companies such as Anu Productions, Patrick Roberge Productions, and The Lovers Cabaret. In the fall of 2014, she was offered a professional position with Lux. Dance Company and tries to take every opportunity that she can to share her love for performing in both contemporary and street styles. Sabra recognizes the value of a supportive and well-rounded dance education, and began assisting and substitute teaching classes during her time training at Spiral Dance Company. She has continued on to teach a variety of dance forms at studios across the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley and enjoys teaching students of all ages and levels.
